joe and famTell me a little bit about yourself.

I grew up in Oxford, Michigan, and am the oldest of 5 kids! Have been really into basketball and baseball my whole life and actually played on a Filipino basketball team for most of my life.

How long have you worked at PG and what has kept you here?

I have been at PG for about a year and a half. I am the Financial Analyst here at PG, but most people know me as the spread guy. Lately, I have been adapting to being the sole financial analyst and taking on more responsibilities bit by bit. The ecosystem and all of the other climbers are the main reason I have stayed and make my time here great.

What was the job you earned your 1st paycheck?

The first paycheck I ever received was at Great Lake Athletics Club. I was a scorekeeper for a summer basketball league.

What's the best advice you'd give someone who just started their career?

The best advice I could give is not to worry too much about having everything figured out. It’s almost impossible to know what works for you and what you want to do without trying things first. Be open to different experiences and learn from everything you can.

If you could get a new skill in 10 minutes, what would it be and why?

If I could get a new skill I would probably want to be able to hit a ceiling shot, musty, double touch in Rocket League. I just think that’d be sick and maybe I could get out of diamond.

Recommend a book, TV show, or movie you recently enjoyed.

Me and my girlfriend, Claire, have recently started rewatching the Saw series and I am enjoying it more than I expected. I think I was too young when I watched them originally, so I either didn’t remember stuff or didn’t understand what was going on.

CashewDo you have a pet?  If so, what are they like?

I do not currently have a pet of my own, but my siblings and I surprised my mom with a Boston Terrier a few years ago that we named Cashew.

If you were a sauce, which would you be and why?

If I was a sauce I would for sure be Ranch, cause I be dressin'.

List anything else you want us to know!

I have been getting really into board games recently, so one of my roommates and I want to eventually make our own game!
